Coordinator, Licensing, Hardlines, Marvel

The Coordinator provides support to the Marvel hardlines licensing team including supporting new product launches, category expansion, and developing consumer products programs in connection with content and marketing events.
Responsibilities :
Licensee and Category Management:
  • Support Senior Manager in everyday responsibilities such as contract and amendment process, financial analysis, strategy presentations, product line analysis, and other projects
  • Identify new business opportunities and explore how to maximize business with current global licensees
  • Develop and conduct trends and competitive research presentations

Finance and Business Planning:
  • Obtain and review quarterly sales forecast information from licensees in order to build quarterly forecast and budget
  • Support strategy and business planning by providing analysis including POS, market share, consumer insights and trend research
  • Support brand marketing initiatives including the development and execution of plans
  • Aggregate licensee/product information and develop clear presentations to support sales teams and global regions

Retail, Sales and Marketing
  • Provide all needed product and licensee information to the Integrated Retail Sales team and marketing to support retail road shows, presentations, and property initiatives
  • Build effective presentations in Keynote/PowerPoint and Excel for a variety of purposes including line reviews, business and strategy updates, licensee briefings, concept pitches and retail buyer presentations
  • Develop and apply an understanding of the retail business development, retail distribution and the retail environment for product and program planning purposes
  • Proactively engage internal Communications and Social Media teams on synergy opportunities to drive awareness of product lines

Basic Qualifications :
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, analytical skills, project management, and follow-through with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
  • Critical thinker, proactive, dependable, resourceful, flexible, detail oriented
  • Confident, but able to ask for assistance when uncertain
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills as well as solid presentation skills
  • Collaborator with strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and work across multiple partners to complete tasks
  • Proficient in key applications including Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and Keynote
  • Ability to quickly pick up new software applications (i.e. those related to day to day business management for contract management etc.)

Required Education :
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Licensing or toys experience preferred but not required

Salary: $13.20 - $15.53Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
